Hroar was born about 0526 in Denmark.1 Hroar's father was Halfdan III Frodasson Denmark and his mother was Sigris Frodadatter. His paternal grandfather was Frodi VII "Valiant" Fridleifsson Denmark. He had a brother and a sister, named Helgi and Helgi. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Hraerek "Slaunvanbauga".General Notes
