Pons was born about 1034 in Gloucestershire,England. Pons' father was William of , Count of Eu Hiesmes and his mother was Alice Lesseline De Harcourt. His paternal grandparents were Richard I "Sans Peur" Duke of Normandy and Gunnora de Crêpon , Duchess Of Normandy; his maternal grandparents were Turchetil De Neufmarche HARCOURT and Adeline De MONTFORT. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert De, Hugh Of, William D' and Margaret D'. He was the youngest of the five children. He died before 1086.General Notes
