Peter De Montfort Sir 
Peter was born about 1240 in Of Beaudesert Castle,Warwickshire. Peter's father was Peter De Montfort and his mother was Alice De Alditheley. His paternal grandfather was Thurston De Montfort; his maternal grandparents were Henry de Aldithley and Bertrade De Mainwaring. He had a brother named John. He was the older of the two children. He died in 1287.General Notes

In April 1264 he was captured at Northampton with his father & was imprisoned in Windsor Castle. He fought at the Battle of Evesham for Simon de Montfort, 4 Aug. 1265, but was wounded & taken prisoner. He was later pardoned by King Henry III, & restored to his lands. He went on a pilgrimage to Santiago in 1272 & again in 1275. In Nov 1276 he was one of the magnates at a council at Westminster concerned with Welsh affairs.
Imprisoned in Windsor Castle but later pardoned by Henry III, King of England.
