Mariana de's father was Francisco Ortiz de Urbina and her mother was Maria de Calderon.  Her paternal grandparents were Juan Ortiz de Urbina and María Fernandez de Cucho y Doipa; her maternal grandparents were Gaspar Calderon and Juana Benitez.  She was an only child.
