Richardis was born about 1173 in Kelhein,Niederbayern,Bavaria.1 Richardis' father was Otto I (V) Bavaria and her mother was Agnes of Looz-Reineck. Her paternal grandparents were Count Otto IV of Wittlesbach and Princess Heilika of Burg-Lengenfeld; her maternal grandparents were Count Ludwig I of Looz and Agnes von Metz. She had a brother and four sisters, named Ludwig I Duke, Sophie, Agnes of, Heilwich of and Mathilde. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had four half-sisters named Agnes von, Heilike, Mathilde and Sophia Von. She died on September 21st, 1231 in Roermond,Limburg,Netherlands.1 -
