Gilbert , Bishop of London was born about 1264. Gilbert , Bishop of London's father was Nicholas , 1st Lord Segrave de Segrave and his mother was Maud de Lucy. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert de Segrave and Amabilia de Chaucombe; his maternal grandparents were Thomas de Lucy and Isabel de Bolteby. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John , 2nd Lord Segrave, Nicholas , Lord Segrave, Geoffrey , Sheriff of Leicestershire, Peter, Annabel and Eleanor.
