Giovanni de Medici

Giovanni was born in 1424.  Giovanni's father was Cosimo the Elder Ruler of Florence de Medici and his mother was Contessina de Bardi.  His paternal grandparents were Giovanni di Bicci Averardo de Medici and Riccarda Bueri. He had a brother named Piero the Gouty Ruler of Florence.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 39 in 1463.
