Margery was born about 1147 in Of Heleigh,Audley,Staffordshire,England.  Margery's father was Liulf de Aldithley and her mother was Mrs-Liulf de Aldithley.  Her paternal grandparents were Liulf de Aldithley and Mrs-Liulf de Aldithley. She had three brothers named Roger, Adam and Liulf.  She was the second oldest of the four children.
