N. N. Prokaina was born about 0940.  N. N. Prokaina's father was Bardas Prokas UNKNOWN and her mother was of Eudokios.  Her paternal grandfather was Nikephoros Prokas UNKNOWN; her maternal grandfather was Eudokios Maleinos UNKNOWN. She had a brother named Leo Phokas.  She was the younger of the two children.
