Joan , "Fair Maid of Kent" was born on September 29th, 1328 in of Woodstock,Kent,England.1   Joan , "Fair Maid of Kent"'s father was Edmund , 1st Earl of Kent Plantagenet and her mother was Margaret Wake.  Her maternal grandfather was John Wake. She had two brothers and a sister, named Edmund , 2nd Earl of Kent, John , 3rd Earl of Kent and Margaret.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Edmund Prince of, Robert, Thomas, John Prince of and Joan Princess of.  She died at the age of 56 on August 8th, 1385 in Wallingford Castle,Wallingford,Berkshire,England.  She was buried in Grey Friars Church,Stamford,Lincolnshire,England.1 1
