Walter Marshal 
Walter was born about 1206 in Of,Pembroke,Pembrokeshire,Wales and his baptism took place in LLZV-DH.1 Walter's father was William Marshall and his mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert De Clare. His paternal grandparents were John Fitz Gilbert Marshal and Sibilla d'Evereux; his maternal grandparents were Richard Strongbow Fitzgilbert de Clare and Eva (Aoife) McMurrough. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Richard , Earl of Pembroke, Gilbert , Earl of Pembroke, William II, Anselm , Earl of Pembroke, Isabel , Countess of Hertford, Margaret, Sibyl, Maud (Matilda), Eve, Isabella, Joan and Sibyl. He was the youngest of the thirteen children. He died on November 24th, 1245 in Goodrich Castle,London,Middlesex,England. He was buried in Tintern,Abbey,England.1 General Notes
