Her paternal grandparents were Henry II Curmantle Plantagenet and Eleanor of Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were William Fitzpatrick and Alianore De Vitre. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Richard, Stephen, Nicholas, Ida and Isabella. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died in February 1297.
