Maud de was born in 1071 in Aigle,Orne,Normandy,France. Maud de's father was Richard (Richer) de l' Aigle and her mother was Judith (Le Goz) Avaranches. Her paternal grandparents were Engenulph de l' Aigle and Richeride UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Richard "Le Goz" d'Avranches and Emma de Conteville. She had a brother named Gilbert Seigneur de l'. She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-sister named Lucie l'. She died before 1118.General Notes
Nele; married 1st after 1107 (but later repudiated) Maud, formerly wife of Robert de Mowbray (originally Mon(t)brai in Normandy), Earl of Northumberland, her marriage to the latter having been declared null due to their kinship. [Burke's Peerage]
Note: I do not currently know what the relationship was between Maud and Robert de Mowbray which caused their marriage to be nullified.
