Catalina's father was Pascual Vicencio and her mother was Jeronima Justiniano .  Her paternal grandparents were Maximo Pascual and Catalina Pascual; her maternal grandparents were Juan Ambrosio Justiniano  and Juana Gutierrez de Torquemada.  She was an only child.
