Gotwald I of was born about 1085 in Wurzburg,Unterfranken,Bavaria.  Gotwald I of's father was Poppo I Count Of Henneberg and his mother was Hildegard Princess Of Thuringia. He had a brother named Gotwald I Graf Von.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died in 1144.
