Rothaut of was born about 0871 in Frankfurt A Main,Hessen-Nassau,Prussia. Rothaut of's father was Charles II "The Bald" King of France and her mother was Richilde Metz. Her paternal grandparents were Louis I "The Pious" France and Judith "The Fair" Princess of Bavaria; her maternal grandparents were Budwine, Count of Autun and Richilde D' Arles. She had two brothers named Charles and Roger Count of.
