Elizabeth was born about 1223. Elizabeth's father was William Earl of Buchan Comyn and her mother was Margaret Buchan. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Comyn and Hextilda Fitzuctred of Tynedale; her maternal grandparents were Fergus Buchan and Mrs-Fergus Buchan. She had a brother named Alexander. She was the younger of the two children. She died in 1267.General Notes
