Marie de was born in 1268 in Rennes,Anjou,France.  Marie de's father was Jean II de Bretagne and her mother was Beatrice Plantagenet.  Her maternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet and Eleanor Berenger Countess Of Provence. She had three brothers and a sister, named Arthur II (Duke of Brittany), Arthur II, Arthur II De and Blanche Princesse de.  She was the youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 71 on March 5th, 1339 in ,,,France.  She was buried in Abbaye De Cercamp,Bretagne,France.
