Martha P. Snoddy

Martha P. was born about 1839 in Indiana.  Martha P.'s father was Samuel Snoddy and her mother was Jane Shields.  Her maternal grandparents were William L., Sr. Shields and Nancy Elizabeth Nash. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, John M., James M., Nancy A. and America.  She was the second youngest of the six children.

‌Martha P. and Samuel C. were married in a religious ceremony on February 3rd, 1858 in Monroe County, Indiana.
