John Shields 
John was born in 1709 in Chester Co., Pennsylvania. John's father was William Shields and his mother was Mary Parker. His paternal grandparents were James Shields and UNKNOWN Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Parker and Eliza ?. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Thomas, Eliza and Jane. He died at the age of 63 in January 1772 in Harrisburg, Virginia.-
