John Pope

John was born in 1809.  John's father was Williamson Pope and his mother was Maryan Margaret Maples.  His paternal grandfather was ? Pope. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Williamson, Simon, Wiley, Elizabeth and Susanna.

‌John and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony on February 10th, 1827 in Greene, Tennessee.
