John Meadows 
John was born on August 14th, 1791 in Greenbrier Co, West Virginia. John's father was Israel Meadows and his mother was Barbara 'Barbary' Green. His paternal grandparents were Frances Meadows and Elizabeth Jennings Mangum. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William Harrison 'Reuben', Jacob Burns, Nancy, Elizabeth, Mary 'Polly', Sarah 'Sally' and Rebekah. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died in Brown Co, Indiana. He was buried in Terrell Cemetery, Brown Co, Indiana.
John and Keziah Jane 'Kissay' were married in a religious ceremony on February 1st, 1812 in Estill Co, Kentucky. They had four sons and four daughters, named William A. 'Bobby', John Hood, Jacob, James Tolbert 'Big Jim', Matilda, Susan, Lavina and Elvira Elma.

Elvira Elma was born in June 1828 in Lawrence County, Indiana. She died at the age of 77 on February 14th, 1906 in Monroe County, Indiana. She was buried in Hanson Cemetery, Clear Creek, Monroe Co, Indiana.
