Lena Edna was born on January 17th, 1886 in Monroe County, Indiana. Lena Edna's father was Samuel W. McGlothlin and her mother was Mary Jane Moore. Her paternal grandparents were John G. McGlothlin and Lucindia Zike; her maternal grandparents were Pinkney Moore and Elizabeth Bennett. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Walter, Otis, Ralph, Hassel, Samuel Winfred, Etta Belle, Lou, Gretchen and Bessie. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 39 on March 27th, 1925 in Monroe County, Indiana. She was buried in Clover Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, Indiana.-
