Marion Mathers 
Marion was born in July 1841. Marion's father was Samuel Mathers and his mother was Mary L. "Betsy" Shields. His maternal grandparents were William L., Sr. Shields and Nancy Elizabeth Nash. He had a brother and a sister, named Solon and Mary E.. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at 2 months old in September 1841 in Monroe County, Indiana.
