Edmund (Edmonde) Masterson 
Edmund (Edmonde) was born about 1540 in Ashford, Co Kent, England. Edmund (Edmonde)'s father was Rycharde Masterson and his mother was Joane Beckyng. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Maisterson Esq. and Mary (Margery) Ma(i)nwaring. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Margaret, Joane, Elizabeth and Mildred. He died in Plymouth, Plymouth Co, Massachusettes.General Notes
Edmond Margeson (Edmund Masterson) was on the Mayflower of 1620 and was
shown as a "Planter" from York. He was one of seven who "All these dyed
soon after the arival, and in the general sickness that befell". His son
Richard, Richards wife, Mary, and their two children came on a sailing on
the Mayflower, leaving Gravesend, London, May 1629 and landed 15 May
1629. There were something over thirty five passengers, many of them from
Leyden, Holland.
