Ruby Violet was born on August 2nd, 1919 in Monroe County, Indiana. Ruby Violet's father was Ben Hostutter and her mother was Eva Ozene McGlothlin. Her maternal grandparents were Jacob Edward McGlothlin and Daisy Meadows. She had two brothers and a sister, named Edward Paul, Opal Wayne and Edna Pauline. She was the second youngest of the four children.-
