Living's father was Living Gross and her mother was Living Bingham.  Her paternal grandparents were Raymond Gross and Barbara F. Hatton; her maternal grandparents were Bud Bingham and Mary Louise Holtsclaw. She had a brother named Living.

They had three daughters named Living, Living and Living.
