William Deckard

William was born on September 15th, 1837 in Chapel Hill, Polk Twp., Monroe, Indiana.  William's father was Peter Deckard and his mother was Katherine Eads.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 70 on August 8th, 1908 in Smithville, Monroe, Indiana.  He was buried in Lucas Cemetery, Monroe, Indiana.

They had a daughter named Katie.
