Hans Diebold Cuntz 
Hans Diebold was born on May 25th, 1720 in Preuschdorf, Alsace, France. Hans Diebold's father was Hans Georg Cuntz and his mother was Catharina Schwanger. His paternal grandparents were Michael Kuntz and Margretha Schaffer. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Johann Georg, Johann Jacob, Johann Michel, Johann Martin, Johann Philip, Elisabetha and Anna Margretha. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Johann Georg and Maria Barbara.General Notes
He was also known as Dewalt, Devault, and Theobald, Devault came to
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his family in 1732 on the "Loyal Judith."

On Feb. 2, 1756 Devault Coonce and Margaret sold to Edward Matthias 100
acres on Abraham Creek at the foot of Kittocton Mountain called "Davis
Delight" in Frederick Co.
On Aug. 22, 1770 Devault Coons and Margaret sold to William Flick a lot
in Sharpsburg, Frederick Co.
The variation in spelling is due to the scribes interpretation of the
sound of his name, as Devault signed his name "X".

Gaspar Koons
Gaspar was born on November 8th, 1759 in Frederick Co., Maryland. He died at the age of 61 on November 8th, 1820 in Henry Co., Indiana. He was buried in Whitewater Churchyard, Richmond, Indiana.
