Mata Bertel

Mata was born in October 1897.  Mata's father was John T. Bertel and her mother was Catherine Lena Petroff. She had a brother named Ellis.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John A., Rose Marie and Clara Teresa.
