Zophar Riggs 
Zophar was born in 1678 in Newark,Essex Co.,New Jersey. Zophar's father was Joseph Riggs and his mother was Hannah Brown. His paternal grandparents were Sergeant Edward Riggs and Elizabeth Roosa; his maternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary Burwell. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Samuel and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Joseph. He died at the age of 95 in 1773.1 -
