Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus was born in September 0905 in Constantinople now Istanbul,Turkey.  Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus' father was Leo VI the Wise MAMIKONIAN and his mother was Zo Carbonopsina TZAUTZINA.  His paternal grandparents were Basil I MAMIKONIAN and Eudocia Ingerina. He had a brother and a sister, named Basil the chamberlain and Anna of Byzantium. He had a half-sister named Helena.
