Mahalia R. Javins

Mahalia R. was born on August 6th, 1849 in Peytona,Boone,Wv.  Mahalia R.'s father was Daniel Watts Javins and her mother was Mary (Polly) Basham.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Watts Javins and Margaret; her maternal grandfather was Nathan BASHAM. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Leander, William Macdonald, Francis Marion, Frank, Martha Jane, Mary E., Nancy Ellen, Margaret A. and Sarah E..  She was the third youngest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Daniel Watts, Euell Thomas, Caroline and Theodicia.  She died at the age of 19 on December 12th, 1868.
