Minerva (Maria) Coon 
Minerva, known as Maria, was born about 1833 in Virginia. Maria's father was George Coon and her mother was Isabella Coon. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, George, Rachael and Alamida. She was the oldest of the five children.
They had four sons and seven daughters, named George S, Charles W, James, William H, Margaret, Margaret, Julia A, Minnie F, Luella, Malissa and Virgie Lee.

Margaret was born in 1854 in Kanawha Salines. She died at the age of 3 on April 10th, 1857 in Kanawha Co,West Virginia.1
