John was born in 4th Baron of Mowbray; Crusader.1   John's father was John de Mowbray and his mother was Joan Plantagenet.  His paternal grandparents were John de Mowbray I and Alicia de Braos. He had two sisters named Blanche and Eleanor.  He died in 1368 in Thrace.1 


John's first family with Elizabeth Segrave Baroness

‌John and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1353.  They had a son named Thomas.
