John Gordon Sprigg 
John Gordon was born in 1628. John Gordon's father was Thomas Sprigg and his mother was Katherine Griffin. His maternal grandfather was George Griffin. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Abraham, Sarah, Katherine and Joanne. He was the oldest of the six children.
