Maria Catherine Kraus 
Maria Catherine was born in 1736 in Pennsylvania. Maria Catherine's father was Nicholas Kraus and her mother was Eva Catherine Haas. Her maternal grandparents were Hieronymus Haas and Christina. She was an only child.
‌Maria Catherine and George were married in a religious ceremony on January 2nd, 1759 in New Hanover,Pennsylvania. They had three sons and two daughters, named John, Barkley, George, Maria Margaretha and Susannah.
