ROGER's father was HUGH AIMERIE THOUARS and his mother was GONNOR DE CREPON.  His maternal grandparents were HERBASTUS DE CREPON and CYRID OLAFSSON OF SWEDEN. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named RICHARD II, RALPH D'IVRY , COUNT OF, ROBERT, WILLIAM COUNT, MAUGER EARL OF, GODFREY, ALFRAED AELGIFU, EMMA OF, HEDWIG `HAWISE' OF and MATILDA OF.
