CATHERINE's father was JOHN (SIR) DE DRAYTON and her mother was PHILLIPA D' ARDERNE.  Her paternal grandparents were BALDWIN DE DRAYTON and IDONEA DE GIMEEGES; her maternal grandfather was RALPH D' ARDERNE. She had a brother named SIMON.

They had a son and a daughter, named SIR HENRY and AGNES.
