Thomas was born in 1590 in England.  Thomas' father was Benjamin Chapman and his mother was Ann Parkinson.  His paternal grandfather was William Chapman.  He was an only child.  He died in Elizabeth City,Virginia.

‌Thomas and Ann were married in a religious ceremony in 1618 in Charles,Virginia.  They had a son and a daughter, named Thomas and Ann.
