II Aethelred 
II was born in 0968 in KING OF ENGLAND (979-1016) (W1-19).1 II's father was Edgar "The Peaceful" and his mother was Elfrida Ordgar. His paternal grandparents were Edmund "The Magnificent" and St. Alfgifu. He was an only child. He died at the age of 48 in 1016.1 General Notes
Ethelred was another brother of Ethelbald, ruling from 866 to 871. He was the third son of Ethelwulf to wear the mantle of kingship.
