Symon STACY 
Symon was born about July 1st, 1638 in North Petherton Parish, Somersetshire, England. Symon's father was John I STACY and his mother was Mary UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were Symon STACY and Elizabeth (Fildewe) Fielding . He was an only child. He died on January 23rd, 1719 in Old Poquoson, VA.General Notes

Symon Stacy came to America between 1636 and 1661, along with his brother Thomas Stacy and sister Hannah. Symon was in Lancaster Co, VA in the years 1667 and 1668. Symon and his wife Mary had moved to Maryland by 1674, returning to Viginia by 1686, Symon is found in Stafford Co., VA. After several years, Symon and his new wife Elizabeth Ann WATTS settled in York Co, VA by 24 JUL 1690 where his son Joseph was born. They had 4 known children. Symon lived in Oaken Swamp, in the area of Old Poquoson, or Charles Parish. He died there 23 JAN 1718 and his wife Elizabeth died 14 APR 1718. Remembering the time differential of that era, Symon actually died 23 JAN 1719.
