Aldred of was born about 0965 in Bernicia, Northumberland, England.  Aldred of's father was Uchtred "The Bold" of NORTHUMBERLAND and his mother was Eggfrida of Durham UNKNOWN.  His paternal grandfather was Walthe I of  NORTHUMBERLAND; his maternal grandfather was Ealthun, Bishop of Durham UNKNOWN.  He was an only child.  He died about 1039 in Spain.
