Donald (Sir) Gorm was born about 1575 in Sleat, Inverness, Scotland. Donald (Sir) Gorm's father was Donald Gorm Mor MacDONALD and his mother was Mary MacKENZIE. His paternal grandparents were Donald Gormeson MacDONALD and Mary MacLEAN; his maternal grandparents were Kenneth Na Cuire McKENZIE and Elizabeth STEWART. He was an only child. He died in October 1643.
