Edward was born in 1329 in Haccombe, Devonshire, England. Edward's father was Hugh de COURTENAY and his mother was Margaret de BOHUN. His maternal grandparents were Humphrey de BOHUN and Elizabeth PLANTAGENET. He was an only child. He died at the age of 43 in 1372.-
