John Whitley 
John was born on November 17th, 1761 in Elizabethtown Twp, Leeds, Ontario, Canada.1 John's father was John Whitley and his mother was Mary Tucker. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named James, Samuel, Mary, Phoebe, Abigail, Jenny and Sally. He died at the age of 76 in September 1838 in , , Ontario, Canada.1 
John and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony about 1784 in , Leeds, Ontario, Canada.2 They had three sons and two daughters, named John, John, Henry, Jane and Sarah.
