Mark R was born on October 16th, 1808 in Greene County, Georgia.1 Mark R's father was Russell Talley and his mother was Elizabeth Creedle. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Talley and Jane Russell. He had four brothers named Joseph T, William, James and John Wesley. He died at the age of 68 on January 15th, 1877 in Hawamba or Lee County, Mississippi. He was buried in Andrews Chapel Cemetery, Mooreville, Mississippi.1 1 -
