His paternal grandparents were Richard Sisson and Mary Freeman; his maternal grandparents were Arthur Hathaway and Sarah Cooke. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Jonathan, Philip, Thomas, John, Thomas, Richard, Content, Hannah, Rebecca, Hannah, Sarah and Mary. He died after 1774 in Dartmouth, Bristol, MA.1 -
