Adam was born in Saffron Walden, Essex, England and his baptism took place there.1 Adam's father was Adam Mott and his mother was Elizabeth Creel. His paternal grandfather was John Mott. He had three brothers and a sister, named Infant, John, Jonathan and Elizabeth. He had three half-brothers named Eleazor, Gershom and Jacob. He died on April 5th, 1693 in Portsmouth, Newport Co, RI.
