Jeremiah (James) Brown Ingram

Jeremiah (James) Brown was born on October 5th, 1833.¹   Jeremiah (James) Brown's father was Thomas Ingram and his mother was Eleanor Covington.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Ingram and Winifred Nelms; his maternal grandparents were Robert Covington and Mary Hicks. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William R, Joseph Lemuel, Eben Nelms, Thomas Coke, Mary Hellen and Sarah Jane.  He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William R, Thomas Coke, Phoebe D, Eliza Hawkins and Winifred Pines.
